Rael Mora Morin was born and raised in Lima, Peru. He immigrated to California when he was 17. He met Giovanni in 2001 at the University of California at Berkeley where he studied Political Science. During his years at Cal he got involved with what started as a very informal group, latinos-a-morir.
Nowdays, he's a community/labor organizer for www.youngworkersunited.org. He volunteers for killercoke.org, forosocialmundial.org.ve, Deporten a la Migra, and Calserve.org. He's also DJ Rael and loves making people go crazy with modern latin music. |
